You should research the dangers of asbestos to Babies, Children and Adults if you are unaware of it. It can take from 10 to 40 years or more for symptoms of an asbestos-related condition to appear. Investigators have found asbestos-related diseases in individuals with only brief exposure.
That is one of the reasons why I recommend you save everything for life. Also, when you do the walk through inspection, ask their representative to lead the way on camera so they can confirm the condition of everything.
